We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! The weekend before, we had some snow, but after it melted the weather was absolutely perfect!

On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, the PTA did a Turkey Trot at Longview. None of the three kids were super excited about running it, but we encouraged them to do it - not to win, but to have a good time. Jack, Kate & Hannah all ended up running and they did great!
Hannah was the most nervous and her teacher said that she talked about it all morning. When it came down to doing it though, she ran her little heart out. She's the one in the gray coat.
This picture cracks me up - Kate is in the teal jacket and her best friend is next to her in the lime green. I'm sure that she wasn't meaning to elbow Kate out of the way, but after all, there was a turkey on the line.
Jack is right in the middle with the broncos shirt on.
The biggest treat for Thanksgiving was having the Esco family come from Boston! We had such a great time having them with us and loved every minute of it! Seriously, the funnest family ever! We were so blessed as well to have my sister and her family drive in from Arizona and my aunt & uncle from Wyoming. It made for the best group ever!

On Thanksgiving, this is how our house looked. We took the couches out of the living room and were all able to sit together. We had 40 people! 40! The food was delicious and the company was even better. My mom did so much of the work for it and the rest of us were able to fill in.

Right before sitting down to eat, Ashlie called us all outside and surprised us with the best Thanksgiving gift ever! A light-up pink pig! We now have everything we could ever hope for! :)
Trying to get everyone in for a picture
Our awesome group! We were just missing my cousin Aaron and his family and my friend Julie was taking the picture.
We ate and visited and the kids had a great time playing together.
That evening, we all went to my mom's house for finger foods and the kids all got a new pair of Christmas pajamas from her. (Lindsey's not in the picture because she was on her way to St. George to play in a soccer tournament that weekend). Such a cute group of kids!
Thanksgiving is so much fun and I love having an extra reason to reflect on all of our blessings and the many, many things we have to be grateful for!
