Alyssa's baptism

 Our beautiful, sweet niece Alyssa was baptized the first Saturday in June.   She is the cutest girl and we loved being there for this special day.  Mike, my brother, baptized her.    We sure love this family!

Spring Dance Show - Lindsey, Kate & Hannah

One of the Saturdays in May is always the spring dance show!  I absolutely love this day - even though it's long and sometimes stressful to have hair, makeup & costumes ready for 3 kids, I love it!  This year, Sam was home and teeny, so we had to work around his eating schedule and worked it out to leave him at home with one parent while the other attended the show.  Thankfully, all the girls danced in the first 2 shows and then just Lindsey danced in the 3rd and 4th show.

My parents and Jon attended the first show.  I came in between the first two with food and we snapped this quick picture (Jack was kind enough to stay home with Sam for 20 minutes).

My friend Jessica took all these amazing shots of the girls.  I always attempt to get pictures, but I only end up with blurry pictures.  I am so grateful that she was there to take these!

Lindsey was in the Strutter's group this year and was wonderful!   She was one of the youngest, but she learned quickly and had a great time.  They danced to "Radioactive."

Hannah's tap number was "Don't Worry, Be Happy."  Hannah is so fun to watch on stage - she is in absolute heaven!  She dances right next to her BFF Heidi and this time got to use pink balloons as props.

Kate loves to dance!  That's her thing!  She did tap/ballet, but also did a jazz class with her friend Megan.  They are the shortest & youngest in the class, but did the dance so well.

Up With Kids Show - May 2015

This last school year, Kate & Hannah participated in the Up With Kids program again.  The show this year was called "Frostbite: A Tale of Two Sisters."   They were excited to do a "Frozen" show and as usual had a great time and performed wonderfully!

 Kate's biggest part was being "Oaken" - the lodge owner who said "big summer blow out."

She had the best accent and did such a great job!

May Misc.

 May came and went!   May is always extremely busy with end-of-school-year activities, the dance show, Up With Kids show, and Mother's Day!  This year was even more busy with a teeny baby AND very rainy, wet weather (oh, and Hailey coming down with shingles!)

I had a wonderful Mother's Day!  This year I really tried to focus on how much I love and adore each of these beautiful children of mine and how blessed I am to be their mom.  It was a wonderful day!

Sam was busy growing, learning how to nurse for each feeding and just being sweet & cute!

For the first couple of weeks at home, his bath was in this big tupperware bowl!

At the end of May, we got an invitation from the Superintendent of the Murray School District, Steve Hirase, that Emily was nominated by her school for the Superintendent's Award.  It's given to 10 students from Hillcrest Jr. High and 10 students from Riverview Jr. High.  They had a nice lunch for them and their parents at Salt Lake Community College.  To earn this award, the student had to have attended 7th, 8th and 9th grade at the school and gotten all A's and H's.    We are sure proud of this beautiful young woman!
