The next day (Tuesday), we spent the day driving to Colorado. We stayed just outside of Denver. We got up on Wednesday morning and drove to Greeley, CO, which is where Jon lived as a little boy. He was able to show us Jackson Elementary and the house that he lived in. The kids loved playing on the same playground and seeing where he grew up. Jon tells the kids bedtime stories at night about 2 little boys named George & Jimmy and he gets all of his story ideas of things that he did as a little boy. George & Jimmy actually represent him and his best friend, Kip. What a treat to see where Jon lived!

So, I found out as we were standing on the playground, that as a little boys, Jon & Kip would dangle upside down from these bars. Then, they would dare each other to drop on their heads and then see who could do that from the highest bar. More proof that children really do have guardian angels!
