They arrived in the afternoon, and since we had planned a huge BBQ with other friends from the Riverside Ward, I had rented a huge bounce house for all the kids to play on. The kids played all afternoon and it was fun to visit with Becky while getting ready for dinner.
We had a great dinner together and it was fun to have so many wonderful friends come! We love all these people so much and even though we live all over the country now, our Ohio ties bind us together. We were so lucky to have such great friends!
Row 1: Becky Larson, me, Holly Dotson (holding Oliver), Andrea Jeppesen (holding Luke), Nina Brostrom, Angie Lines, AnnDee Nadauld (holding Nathan) & Ali Crockett (holding Miles).
Row 2: Jon, Jeff Dotson, Kelly Jeppesen, Kyle Brostrom (holding Cole), Brian Lines, Taylor Nadauld & Jack Crockett
Among these 8 families, there are: 27 kids!
Becky and the kids slept over that night. It was fun to put the kids to bed and talk with her again. The next morning, we got the kids ready and headed to Gardner Village. I wanted to show her a really cute quilt store. The kids fed bread to the ducks and Becky and I wandered through. What's better than being in a quilt store with a friend??!!
Then we took the kids to the candy store and let them pick out a piece. It was a beautiful morning and such a fun way to spend our last moments together. From there, I took my kids to swimming and Becky headed back to her parent's house. It was wonderful to see them! We love you guys and can't wait to see you again!
