Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Bowen

We were really lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa Bowen visit us for 10 days and we were sad to see them leave today. They have faithfully come to Ohio at least once a year (sometimes more than that) for the last 6 1/2 years. Bless their hearts! We love them so much and appreciate the great examples they are to us. Grandma Bowen patiently reads to all the kids and is always willing to play with them. She is always willing to walk to the bus stop to greet Emily and Lindsey and always willing to come along for rec center and dance classes. Grandpa Bowen loves to rock the babies! Hannah had some great "rock-a-bye" time with him. He was such a great sport! On his first morning here, he got stuck in our bathtub for three hours (his legs just kept cramping up so he couldn't get out - everyone was gone and then we couldn't hear him hollering for help). Then he got a horrible stomach bug for several hours on Sunday. But, he always leaves with a smile on his face!

Thank you again for coming! We love you and miss you already!

I love this picture of Kate, Hannah and Grandma Bowen

I am glad you got to have a long, wonderful visit with them. They are both so sweet and so good with the kids. It was fun to hang out with you guys and with them, and especially sharing the Home Town tradition. Thanks for sharing them with us too!! I love the one of Hannah with her grandpa. So cute!

P.S. Thanks SO, SO, SO much again for the sleepover with the kids last night. I so appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
