School started on Wednesday, August 20th for Lindsey. She's a 7th grader at Hillcrest Jr. High and the 7th graders go the first day all by themselves. She was so cute and spent the majority of the summer making the dress she wanted to wear on the first day. It turned out really cute! She was nervous and excited! She got a little emotional when it was time to go catch the bus, but I reassured her that I was that way and Emily was as well. As soon as she saw her friends, she was back to being excited. She had a great first day and has enjoyed it so far.
The other 4 kids started school on Thursday, August 21st. They were all excited and ready to go!
(So, I accidentally forgot to take pictures of Emily. She left early - Lindsey had that day off since she went the day before - so I took pictures of her the 2nd day of school).

Finally - a good one!
Jack was so excited to have our next door neighbor, Case, coming to Longview. They had planned on wearing their football jerseys the first day and they were so excited to walk together. But - Case had attended a different Elementary school in our district and they decided to send him back to that one - so Jack was bummed. Thankfully they play after school most days of the week!
