The weekend of July 26th & 27th, I'm referring to as "Mermaid Weekend."
For the first part of Mermaid Weekend, Lindsey & Kate performed in the Up With Kids version of "The Little Mermaid." The whole week, they attended a camp (which was also the same week that Emily was gone at the BYU soccer camp). They went to a rec center each morning and they worked on the play and then swam at the end of the day. They had a blast!
Lindsey was cast as "Admire" which was one of Ariel's sisters and Kate was a Jelly Fish. On Friday evening, they performed the show for the parents. They perform at a church with a little outdoor amphitheater. I went early in the day to put chairs where I knew there would be shade, so we had a great night.
The girls were spectacular! They knew all their lines, songs & dances and looked so cute in their costumes. I sat there and could have watched it all over again. Well done girls!
