4th grade play & piano recital

During the last week of school, Kate's cute 4th grade class performed some Folk Lore plays.  Kate did a great job!

We also had our spring piano recital - all 4 girls take lessons now and all 4 of them did great!

Memorial Day - May 30, 2016

We had a great Memorial Day!

In the afternoon, we met my parents at Wasatch Lawn to visit my Grandpa & Grandma Clyde's grave.  It has a new stone on it - which is beautiful.

We then went to my parent's house for a BBQ.  They are so kind to host!   It always makes our holidays so relaxing to just go to someone else's house!  Thank you mom & dad!

 Sophia & Hailey

 All American boy

Jack & Jon - we had given my parents our old grill along with it's nifty BYU cover!

 Mike and his shirt :)

These cousins sure love each other - Hannah, Zoey, Kate & Alyssa

We sure love our country and love our ancestors!  Happy Memorial Day 2016!

Hailey's Preschool Graduation

Okay, now that it's the start of another school year, I guess I better finish up last school year :)

Near the end of May, Hailey officially graduated from preschool.  Sniff, sniff!  Preschool is so cute and so fun and the kids are still just so little and sweet.  Hailey loved every day of preschool.  She loved her teachers Ms. Lorie & Grandpa Avery.  She learned all her letters, sounds, numbers, shapes, the beginning of reading, etc.   She wasn't able to go to last year's graduation because she had shingles, so it was fun for her to be able to go this year.

Jon had just finished a night shift, so Sam and I were the only ones there to cheer her on.

She's the 2nd on the left - holding the black sheep

We love you big girl!  You're growing up waaaay too fast!  I don't know if I'm ready to send you every day to Kindergarten!

Up With Kids Show - Aladdin

At the end of May,  Kate & Hannah performed in their annual Up With Kids show.  This year, they did Aladdin (which also had a mix of Inside Out characters in it).  They love Ms. Angela and have a fun time learning their lines, the songs and the choreography during the school year.

 Ms. Angela

Kate was Abu (she's in the brown costume)

Hannah was Glee (a mini version of Joy from Inside Out)

in this scene, Hannah was a treasure from the Cave of Wonders
I love her expressions!

My parents were so sweet to come!

I can't remember where Lindsey was, but these girls had a great crowd!
(You can tell how thrilled Jack was to be there)

Murray Community Dance Spring Program - 2016

One of my favorite parts of being a mom of girls is going to their dance performances.  I literally spent hours each week driving them all to their classes (each class is only once a week), so it's a great Pay Day for me when the show comes around.

This year's spring performance theme was "Let's Go to the Movies."   What a fun theme!  My pictures aren't the greatest, but I sure think the girls were darling!

My sweet Mother-in-law and Sister-in-law drove all the way from Oregon once again to come to the show.  They are some of the girl's biggest fans!  We sure love and appreciate them!

This was Kate's jazz number.  They performed a song from "Home".  Kate is the blonde right in the front middle

Hannah did "Do Re Mi" from Sound of Music.   She's on the front row with her right arm completely straight up!

Lindsey has been a Showtime Strutter for the last 2 years and has decided that she's going to focus more on soccer so this was her last performance.  She is a beautiful dancer and I have loved seeing her dance over the years.  They performed "Flashlight".   She's on the front row, center.

My sweet mom came to the shows as well.  My dad usually loves coming to these too, but was actually in the hospital recovering from an infection in his blood.

Hailey performed "Shake a Tailfeather" from Chicken Little.  She was so cute!  She's the 2nd in from the right - shaking her bootie

 2nd in from the left

Kate's ballet class performed "Married Life" from the movie Up.  The girls did a fabulous job dancing with balloons.  She's holding the red balloon.

Kate also did a hip hop dance - she really loved this one.

Another successful, busy day of dance - but oh, so fun!
