Lagoon

For Memorial Day, we decided to take the kids to Lagoon. We hadn't been in probably 6 years and the weather was supposed to be just partly cloudy. We knew we were taking a chance with crowds, since it was a holiday, but we decided to go anyway. It was the PERFECT day! The weather couldn't have been any better - warm enough, but not too hot - and even though there were lots of people there, the lines for the rides went quick. Our longest wait was probably 20 minutes, but most were less than 10 minutes. Tom (Jon's brother) came with us and the kids were incredible (Tom even commented that there wasn't even one melt down).

We took turns taking Jack, Kate & Hannah on the little kid rides, while the other 2 adults would take Emily & Lindsey on bigger rides. The white, wooden roller coaster and Musik Express were the 2 favorites of the day.

The carousel was Hannah & Kate's first ride. Hannah wasn't exactly thrilled to be on a wooden horse.

Kate, on the other hand, loved it!

Lindsey, loving the Puff ride

Hannah went with Emily on Puff and cried the whole time. When she came off, Hannah's word was "fun."

We all went down the log flume and then Tom took all the girls again. As you can see Hannah didn't like it and when she came off this ride, her word was "ride."

We thought Jack would be all over the bigger rides. He went on a couple and then was perfectly happy on the littler kid rides.

Jon & Hannah getting ready for Puff to start. What a great dad!

Hannah is screaming (and this was about her 3rd time on this ride), but I love Jack & Kate's faces in this picture. They are just having a great time together!

What fun! I loved lagoon as a kid. I'm sure they'll be talking about the rides for months. Your family is at such a fun stage!

Good ol' Lagoon. Hannah cracks me up that she would cry on the ride and then say "fun" when it was over. We'll have to go with you guys next time!
