Kate woke up this morning with the strangest rash on her feet, knees & palms of her hands. It's really itchy, but she hasn't been sick, she has her appetite, she doesn't have a fever and otherwise, feels just fine. I assumed it may have been hand, foot & mouth disease, but there's no sores in her mouth. I took her to the pediatrician, who also agreed that it's a mystery. It's not HF&M disease and he said it looks like an allergy to something. We can't figure out what she might have eaten or been exposed to, that would cause this. Thankfully, she's not contagious and Benedryl seems to be taking the edge off the itching. So, we'll see what happens to it.
In the meantime, she's supposed to be a flower girl at Richard & Misty's wedding on Saturday and just may need to wear tights and dressy shoes, instead of bare legs and sandals. Poor thing!
And the second mystery to me, is: How does anyone find this sleeping position comfortable?

poor baby! Lexi got a rash like that one time with no fever and a total mystery. It was something in my brother's backyard that didn't agree with her (we're still guessing). Her ankles even got all swollen. I hope she feels better in time for the wedding. Lexi's was gone after about 48 hours. Oh, and Braydon has some strange sleeping positions as well. Poor thing!! Her sleeping positions crack me up. I hope that rash heals soon. Glad that she isn't suffering from it.
Could it be Fifth's Disease - Sam had that. Weird red awful rash - not sick otherwise.
Geez-that looks really bad.
Maybe she has an allergy to a plant or something in your yard. It's weird that she didn't have it on her face though.
